The session begins with an engaging presentation led by our team, where you’ll learn how coffee is grown on our family farm, explore different coffee varieties, and understand how processing methods shape flavour long before beans ever reach the roaster. We’ll walk through the decisions made at origin — planting, harvesting, and processing — and how those choices influence what ends up in your cup.

Next, you’ll move into a guided tasting of a selection of freshly roasted Crickle Creek coffees. Together, we’ll explore aromas, flavours, body, and acidity, helping you understand what you’re tasting and why each coffee expresses itself differently. Whether you’re new to specialty coffee or already brewing with intention, this part of the session builds confidence and curiosity.

The experience concludes with a live roasting demonstration, where we roast a batch of coffee on-site. You’ll see how roasting transforms green coffee into the aromatic beans we brew every day, and learn how roast profiles affect flavour, balance, and sweetness. It’s a hands-on look at the final step in the seed-to-cup journey.
