The Ethiopia Shegitu (Coffee Of The Month) was so popular that we ran out before Kelly could say: "Roast up another batch!" Happily, we have a lovely bag of Flores Organic from Indonesia to tempt the palate. It is heady with cinnamon, spice and everything nice in an medium roast. Smooth and full bodied. I have been enjoying the fruits (read pastries) of Pascal’s for a while now and a thought (yes, just one) occurred to me while pondering life over espresso and pain au chocolat: Astute and discerning people would also enjoy these delights! Thus, we shamelessly introduce Pascal’s Pastries. He can be seen at his shop with a funny net hat putting together the best delights I’ve had since those heady days in France oh so long ago. They are packaged frozen for one to bake at home and I can attest to the elevation of breakfast status because of these beauties. Added bonus - my French has become impeccable.
