Coffee Of The Month

This month brings a crispness to the air and an old favourite that we very much enjoyed last year. The Flores from Indonesia is subtle, full bodied, low acidity, with good floral notes in a medium roast.

We are enthralled with the new crop Ethiopia as it is fabulous, dahlings!  And in our coffee wisdom, we have decided to feature as our Coffee Of The Month in a medium-dark roast.  It delivers sweet aroma, surprising caramel and berry finish and good heavy body.  We have enjoyed Ethiopia for years now, but have always roasted it darker and now we are seeing it in a new light (well, lighter roast, that is).  We will still roast it in it's usual fashion as well so please specify dark or medium unless ordering through our website as you will find...

Hello August and the rest of summer! We are very pleased with our new Coffee Of The Month - Dominican Republic Organic that is citrus and bright with good body and aroma in a medium roast.

 Well, after all the craziness, we have secured a date to close down the shop for 2 weeks.  From August 2nd to the 16th, we will be parlaying en Francais and learning to whack da ball on the clay courts in the Laurentians.  We will then take our new skills back to the cottage where we will show those 85 year olds what it's all about.  They think they've got game.  Then it's gin and tonics and one-up-man ships and general wallowing in glory.
