April Showers & Bolivia Flowers: Introducing Bolivia CENAPROC Coffee
April may bring showers — but in your cup, we’re bringing flowers.
This month, we’re featuring Bolivia CENAPROC coffee as our Coffee of the Month — a Fair Trade, organic certified coffee produced by the Central Asociados Productores de Café cooperative.
About CENAPROC
CENAPROC is made up of 85 active smallholder farmers who cultivate primarily Typica and Caturra varieties at elevations between 1,400 and 1,700 meters above sea level.
Altitude matters. At higher elevations, coffee cherries mature more slowly, allowing sugars to develop more fully. The result? Greater clarity, complexity, and sweetness in the cup.
And this coffee delivers exactly that.
What to Expect in the Cup
This medium roast Bolivian coffee offers:
-
Focused apricot acidity
-
Bright nectarine stone fruit notes
-
Soft graham cracker sweetness
-
Gentle honey tones
-
A smooth butterscotch finish
It’s layered without being sharp. Fruit-forward without being overwhelming. Rich, structured, and deeply satisfying.
Why Fair Trade and Organic Matter
As a Fair Trade and organic certified coffee, Bolivia CENAPROC supports small farmers through stable pricing, sustainable agricultural practices, and environmentally responsible cultivation.
When you brew this coffee, you’re tasting not only high-altitude terroir — but also intentional farming and community resilience.
And as a family-rooted roastery, that matters to us.
Roasted to Highlight Origin
We roast this Bolivia CENAPROC coffee to a medium profile to preserve its stone fruit acidity while building body and caramelized sweetness.
Balanced.
Elegant.
Comforting.
A Note on Packaging
We proudly reuse our coffee packaging as part of our effort to reduce waste. And because we don’t use industrial bag sealers, there’s no need to shred the top of the bag (as tempting as that may be).
Simply gently pry the seal open and enjoy.
Less waste. More intention.
