Our coffee for this month is cultivated by legacy farmers in the highlands of Sa’adah and Ibb Governorate. The coffee is grown on terraced lands that have been in use for generations and were the original commercial coffee farms in the region. These trees are thoughtfully spaced in a low-density setting to withstand the harsh and challenging conditions. Pearl of Tehama, with a history spanning over seven decades, has been dedicated to collaborating with producers to bring this exceptional coffee to the market. The resulting cup is a complex blend with multiple layers of flavours that shine through. It offers a delightful, sweet aroma, a tea-like body, and low acidity. While sipping this coffee, you can discern notes of dried fruits, figs, and spices.
