Day 15 Magical Cup of Coffee
COFFEE: Cuba Turquino
NOTES: Nutty, Smoky
Cuba's coffee growing region located in the Sierra Maestra benefits from Atlantic winds that bring in moisture and long established farming practices. Such traditional farming methods and the care that Cubans put into their coffee make for an excellent coffee. Turquino relates to a type of grade for Cuban beans. Cuba does not have the high altitudes or renown as its neighbor Jamaica, but it still produces some unique and interesting coffee. Expect a light, juicy body in the cup with low acidity and a balanced sweetness.
